FACEBOOK-CONNECTED DATA
Data deletion instructions
How to disconnect a Facebook Page and request deletion of Facebook connection and authorization data held by GainUnit.
1. Disconnect your Facebook Page
If Facebook connection controls are available for your eligible business, sign in to your GainUnit account, open that business, and choose Disconnect Facebook. This removes GainUnit's stored encrypted Page credential and blocks future enabled connection features.
Disconnecting does not delete content already published to Facebook. GainUnit may retain a limited connection-history record without a credential so it can safely require a fresh connection before any later enabled connection feature.
2. Delete the business and its Facebook delivery records
If you need to remove all GainUnit-stored Facebook connection and delivery records for this business, sign in and open Business → Delete this business. This also permanently deletes that business's profile, posts, images, calendar, and other business-specific work; it keeps your email login and any other businesses. This cannot be undone. Active external billing must be cancelled before the business can be deleted.
Deleting GainUnit data does not remove posts or comments already published on Facebook; manage those on Facebook.
3. Meta data-deletion requests
Meta currently directs people to these instructions rather than automatically sending GainUnit a data-deletion callback. If Meta sends GainUnit a valid signed deletion request after that callback is configured, GainUnit removes the associated Facebook connection and delivery records and returns a confirmation link to this page. Viewing this page alone does not submit a deletion request or remove data.
A Meta-signed Facebook-specific request does not remove your unrelated GainUnit account, business profile, or saved content. Use the account controls for those actions.
4. If you cannot access your account
Start with account recovery before taking an account-specific action. Do not send Facebook access tokens by email or through a browser form.
