GAINUNIT PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy
How we use the business and account information needed to create, deliver, and manage your GainUnit content.
Information GainUnit uses
GainUnit uses the business details, account information, saved content, and settings you provide to create and deliver the services you choose. Customer content and private uploaded assets are kept with the customer's GainUnit account and business.
We retain this information while it is needed to operate the account, deliver its content, protect the service, and maintain required records. Permanent business deletion removes that business's GainUnit-owned content and private image files; it does not delete content already published to a third-party platform.
Optional Facebook Page connection and publishing
Eligible Pro customers can choose one Facebook Page they manage. GainUnit receives the eligible Page list and stores the selected Page's name, identifier, authorization, and connection status. We use that connection to publish the customer's scheduled posts, optional images, and saved planned comments to that Page. We retain the resulting Meta post and comment identifiers and delivery status to show what was published and prevent duplicate delivery. GainUnit does not publish to a customer's personal Facebook profile.
Page credentials are stored server-side in encrypted form. They are not exposed to customers' browser JavaScript, n8n workflows, or OpenAI. GainUnit does not currently retrieve visitor-created Page posts or comments for a customer-facing feature, or collect Facebook post-performance analytics for display. If an analytics feature is introduced, its data use will be described before it is enabled.
Disconnecting and deleting Facebook-connected data
A customer can disconnect a selected Facebook Page in Business settings. This removes the stored encrypted Page credential and blocks future publishing. Limited connection and delivery history may remain without a usable credential so GainUnit can show prior publishing and prevent duplicate posts. Disconnecting does not delete posts or comments already on Facebook.
The account's Delete this business action permanently removes that business's GainUnit content and Facebook connection and delivery records while keeping other businesses and the email login. This broader deletion cannot be undone and may require active billing to be cancelled first. See the Facebook-connected data deletion instructions for the difference between disconnecting, business deletion, and a Meta-signed deletion request.
Optional campaign measurement
When campaign measurement is available, you can accept or reject it using Privacy choices. Your choice is saved in an essential preference cookie. Only after you accept measurement do we create a random visitor identifier and record campaign page views, clicks, and related sample, signup, and Daily subscription milestones. We retain the campaign and content revision that brought you to GainUnit so reports describe the version you actually saw. We do not use fingerprinting or an IP-derived marketing identifier.
Advertising measurement is a separate optional choice. When enabled and accepted, Meta Pixel or Google Ads tags may receive page activity. We do not load these tags before your consent. Withdrawing consent through Privacy choices stops future measurement and revokes the associated visitor record; it does not undo earlier aggregate reports or delete your account. Campaign attribution can stay attached to a business during setup and checkout without sharing anonymous sign-in cookies across our hosts.
Account access and choices
Customers can review or correct business information and manage their Page connection in their GainUnit account. If account access is unavailable, start with account recovery before taking an account-specific action.
